YOU WERE GIVEN SOMETHING. USE IT.
The parable of the talents isn't about who got more. It's about what you do with what's in your hands. Stop measuring and start stewarding.

The short of it
- What you've been entrusted with matters, even when it differs from what others have.
- Faithfulness is measured by stewardship, not comparison.
- Fear can make inaction look safer than responsibility.
There's a difference between having potential and putting it to work.
One is a possibility. The other is a decision.
You don't need to possess everything to be responsible for something. Whatever has been placed in your care—time, opportunity, influence, ability, resources—comes with a question: What will you do with it?
The Assignment Is in Your Hands
In Jesus' parable of the talents, a master entrusts his property to three servants before leaving on a journey. The amounts differ. Two servants put what they've received to work. The third buries his share.
When the master returns, the story turns on what each servant did with the responsibility entrusted to him (Matthew 25:14–30).
The parable is about accountability and faithfulness in view of the master's return. It isn't a promise that every financial risk will pay off, or that people with more resources are more valuable.
The servants didn't begin with equal amounts. They did begin with responsibility.
Stop Measuring. Start Stewarding.
Comparison can make your assignment look insignificant.
Someone else has more experience. More capital. A larger platform. A head start.
But none of those facts answers the question in front of you: Are you being faithful with what you have?
The third servant's fear becomes his explanation for doing nothing. His response is to preserve what was given without putting it to use.
It's possible to protect an opportunity so carefully that you never actually take it.
Responsible action isn't recklessness. It means learning, preparing, asking for help, and using what you have with intention.
You don't honor a gift by admiring it from a distance. You honor it by taking responsibility for it.
The move
Make an inventory of three things currently in your care: a skill, a relationship, and an opportunity. Choose one. Identify a useful, responsible action you can take with it in the next 48 hours.
You were given something. Put it to work.
The Foundation
“Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things.”
Matthew 25:21

DON'T DESPISE THE SMALL.
