Agreement
These terms apply to Awaken the Flame (awakentheflame.com, “we,” “us”). By using the site or joining the email list, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
What Awaken the Flame is
A free publication of short pieces (“Drops”) on mindset, discipline, courage, purpose and growth, rooted in biblical truth, along with an email list that delivers them. There is no account and no payment.
Not professional advice
Drops are inspirational and educational. They are not medical, mental-health, financial, legal or professional counseling, and they don’t replace advice from a qualified professional or guidance from your own pastor or church. You’re responsible for the decisions you make.
The email list
Joining is free. We’ll send a welcome email and each new Drop. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email. How we handle your email address is covered in our Privacy Policy.
Our content
The writing, images, design and branding on this site belong to Awaken the Flame. You’re welcome to share links to Drops and to quote short excerpts with credit to Awaken the Flame. Please don’t republish whole Drops, or use our content commercially, without written permission. Scripture quoted on the site is from the World English Bible, which is in the public domain.
Using the site
Don’t use the site for anything unlawful, try to disrupt or overload it, or try to access parts of it you’re not meant to reach. Links to other sites are provided for convenience; we don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content.
No warranties
The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We may change, pause or discontinue any part of the site or the email list at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Awaken the Flame is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or its content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
If we change these terms, we’ll update them on this page and change the effective date above. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
